In the Wednesday, March 18, 2009, edition of the Williamson Daily News, the story titled "Ky. woman indicted for murder of Mingo native, ex-boyfriend," the lead read, "A Hardin County, Ky., woman was indicted yesterday on murder charges, stemming from the shooting death of former Williamson Mayor Charles "Butch" West." The article should have said "A Hardin County, Ky., woman was indicted yesterday on charges stemming from the shooting death of former Williamson Mayor Charles "Butch" West's son, Eric West." The end of the sentence was mistakenly omitted from the story appearing on the Web site and in the paper. The second sentence inadvertently followed suit and had Charles West's name in the place where Eric West's name should have been. The Williamson Daily News apologizes for any confusion this may have caused, and assures readers the mistakes were unintentional.
