WMH introduces new CEO

WILLIAMSON — Williamson Memorial Hospital (WMH) has announced the selection of David Pryor as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Before accepting the position in Williamson, Pryor served as the Chief Operating Officer of Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte. Prior to that, Pryor served as Chief Operating Officer and Pharmacy Director at the Chilton Medical Center in Clanton, Ala.
Pryor has more than 17 years of experience in hospital leadership. He attended Samford University, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy. He also earned a Master of Science in Health Services Administration from the St. Francis University.
Pryor is a native of Alabama. He and his wife Tonya have four children, Hannah, Kyle, Alaina, and Isabella.
WMH has served the communities of the Tug Valley area since 1918. Jessica Martin, Human Resources Director for the healthcare facility, stated that WMH brings quality health care to the community with comprehensive services and an experienced team of physicians and caregivers.
Pryor is hoping to build a close relationship with county and state officials and is planning to be an active member of organizations that work to better the lives of the residents of the Tug Valley area.
Williamson Memorial Hospital is partly owned by local physicians who wanted to invest in healthcare for the local communities.
