Bernard Yates, 79, of Merrimac, passed away Friday, October 12, 2012, at Pikeville Medical Center.
He was born December 26, 1932, in Mingo County, the son of the late Ermal and Lillian Yates.
Graveside services will be held Friday October 19, at 11 a.m. at Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, Ky., with Buddy Kendrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, Ky., with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at R.E. Rogers Funeral Home.
