Winston Cisco, 72, passed away peacefully at home on September 26, 2012.
He was born July 15, 1940, in Mohawk. In his early years he was a barber in Huntington, where he was married to Elaine Lawson Cisco. They has a son, Winston Eric Cisco.
They later moved to Hilliard, Fla., in the 60s where they owned M&M Truck City.
In the 70s they moved to Folkston, Ga., where he owned and operated Cisco Ford for 25 years. Winston’s wife, Elaine of 42 years passed away in March of 2002. Also preceding him in death are his parents, Champ and Anna Cisco, and a brother, Fairley Cisco. Winston was a member of the Oceanway Assembly of God Church in Jax, Fla.
He leaves behind a devoted and loving wife of 10 years, Rose Mary Parsley Cisco (Rosie); his loving son, Eric Cisco (Tina); three very much loved grandchildren, Erica Cisco, Jenny Cisco Tague (Joey) and Jerrod Cisco; three step-children, Jonathan Roman, Joshua (Melissa) Roman and Rachel Roman Flores (Emir); three step-grandchildren, Taylor, Kennedy and Trinity; a brother, Leslie Cisco (Erma). He also leaves behind cousins, nieces, nephews and aunt and uncle Herbert and Norma Mounts of Williamson. Other survivors are Jerry, Jenny and Jordon Mounts of Delbarton and a host of very, very dear friends.
A special thanks to Hospice of Golden Isles in Brunswick, Ga., their staff, nurses Miriam Cristobal, Karon Bennett and Brenda Bryant for their compassionate and great care of my husband during his illness and special thanks also to Pat and Ronnie Evans for all the meals and help.
Winston now rests in the arms of Jesus and will be greatly missed. “I love you Baby.”
Funeral services were held at the Camp Pinckney Baptist Church Saturday September 29, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Danny Baggett and Pastor Ken Barney officiating. Burial followed in the Pine View Cemetery.
