Mary (Joyce) Duncan, 74, of Belo, W.Va,, went to be with our Lord and Savior March 4, 2009 at the Appalachian Regional Hos-pital. She was born June 5, 1934 at Duncan Fork, W.Va.,a., the daughter of the late Willie and Nora White Ooten. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda McCoy.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband Easton Duncan; three sons, Jerry Duncan of Belo, W.Va., Charlie Dun-can of Hell Creek, W.Va., and Bruce Duncan of Taylorville, W.Va.;
one daughter, Patsy Duncan Kidwell of New Town, W.Va.; one sister Flora May Conley of Winfield, W.Va.; two brothers, Truman Ooten of Dan-iel Boone Parkway, Ky., and Harry Thomas Ooten of Bellview, Ohio; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Duncan Fork United Baptist Church Saturday Marcg 7, 2009 at 1 0am with Rev. Joaquine Ooten Officiating.
Burial will follow in the White Cemetery at Hell Creek, W.Va.
Visitation will be at the Church after 6:00pm Friday evening with Special services starting at 7 p.m.
Chafin Funeral Home of Delbarton, W.Va., is in charge of services.
