Lucy Mullins, 80, of Varney, passed away September 27, 2012, at her home.
She was born November 25, 1931, at Williamson, the daughter of the late Robert and Lilly Miller Bevins.
She was also preceded in death by children, Pricy and Roosevelt Mullins; and several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Mullins was retired from the Mingo County Board of Education as a custodian at the Delbarton Grade School after 19 years. She also attended the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her Husband Burbage Mullins; sons, William C. (Cassondra) Mullins of Ragland, Clarence M. Mullins of Huntington; daughters, Lilly (Van) Estep of Rutledge, Tenn., Margaret (Ravin) Woolum of Varney, Donna (Mike) Coleman of Delbarton, Mary (Clell) Fuller of Varney and Charlene (Frank) Stepp of New Market, Tenn.; one brother, Clarence (Linda) Bevins of Ragland; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Chafin Funeral Home Sunday September 30, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Nathaniel Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in the Muntain View Memory Gardens at Huddy, Ky. Visitation will be at the funeral home from noon until the time of the funeral. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
