PIKEVILLE, Ky. -An Aflex, Ky., man has been arrested for the murder after a body was found buried in a shallow grave.
Bruce Dillon, 52, was arrested Friday, charged with murder-domestic violence and abuse of a corpse.
The victim is believed to be Dillon's wiffe, Sherry, 44, who has been missing for a month.
Sherry Dillon's family contacted Kentucky State Police July 16, and said she had not been seen since July 7, near her residence at Aflex. KSP issued a missing person alert Aug. 3.
Dillon is scheduled to be arraigned at the Pike County Detention Center Monday morning.
The body has been the sent to the State Medical Examiner's office in Frankfort for an autopsy and for positive identification.
