MATEWAN, W.Va. - Matewan’s Brandon Bugraff was officially recognized by McDonalds of East Kentucky for being niminated to the 2009 McDonalds All-American Team.

Burgraff is one of 1,500 male prep basketball standouts in the nation nominated by the McDonald’s All AMerican Basketball Team Selecito Committee, an group of nationally prominent basketbal experts. AS a nominee, the 6’ guard will be consideres for one of the 24 positions on the final 2009 McDonald’s All American High School Nasketball Game.

This year’s McDonald’s All Ameroican Boys Game will be played Wednesday APril 1 at the BankUnited Center in Miami, Florida and wil be broadcast live on ESPN during primetime at 8:00 p.m. (EST.)

As a starter for the Tigers, Burgraff has averaged 25.3 point per game this season. He has amassed many honors during his basketball career at MAtewan including being named to the 2nd Team All-State in 2008, 1st Team All0Area in 2007 an dAll-State Honorable Mention in 2007.

The son of Eugene and Debbie Burgraff, Brandon remains uncommitted to a college at this time.
