A nip and tuck battle is exactly what the fans saw during the first three quarters of the ballgame. Then a plethora of fouls called in the fourth quarter of play caused the game to swing substanially in the favor of Sheldon Clark.
The game was 19 to 19 going into halftime. Both clubs had played seemingly strong defense and their offense’s found their mark very steadily.
Even in the third quarter the game was still very close and the final outcome very much in doubt with the score going into the fourth quarter of play being a difference of only three with Sheldon Clark leading 32 to 29.
In the fourth, a combination of Williamson letting up on the offensive rebounding game and the aforementioned abundance of fouls blew the game wide open and allowed the final score of 51 -36 make the game look much more lopsided than it was in actuality,
