Nancy E. Deskins May, 59, of Breeden, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 19, 2009 at her home. She was born August 10, 1949 at Dingess, a daughter to the late Wayne (Buddy) and Gladys Laymen Deskins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Dale Des-kins.
Nancy loved and lived her life for the Lord. She was a faithful Christian for the past 30 years and a dedicated Sunday School teacher for 26 years. She was a member of the Trace Church of God at Dingess.
In addition to her loving husband of 38 years, Allen May, she is survived by two sons, Brian (Donna) May of Dingess and Robbie (Tab-by) May of Lenore; one daughter, Cristen (Jason) Dalton of Breeden; five brothers, Phillip (Betty) Basiden of Dingess, Quincy (Sadie) Deskins of Breeden, Bill Deskins of Prineton, Thomas (Phyllis) Deskins of Twelvepole Creek, Dwight (Kaye) Deskins of Breeden; one sister, Thresa (Dwight) Hannah of Oce-ana; three sister-in-laws, Pat (John) Fleming of Breeden, Connie (Jonathan) Marcum of Breeden, Colleen (Dar-rell) Turley of Lavalette; one brother-in-law, Carman (Bridgette) May of South Carolina; 6 grandsons, Anthony, Carson, Caleb and Preston May and a host of neices and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 23, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Trace Church of God at Dingess with the Rev. Bob-by Carter and Rev. Eddie Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Breeden. Visi-tation will be after 6 p.m. at the church. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
