Gail Haney

Gail Clark Haney, 74, of Justice, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, at the Sprattsville Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Walter Grimmett officiating.

Burial will follow in the Hatfield Cemetery at Hampden.

Visitation will be held after 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Mounts Funeral Home.

James Hicks

James Richard Hicks, 65, of Lorado, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2001, at his residence.

Born Nov. 15, 1945, he was the son of the late Wilbert and Ruby Hicks and the late Jimmy Adkins.

To honor James’ wishes, he was cremated.

Arrangements are under the direction of Mounts Funeral Home.

Myrtle Reynolds

Myrtle Chaney Reynolds, 81, of Pikeville, Ky., died Thursday, January 13, 2011.

Born April 6, 1929, she was the daughter of the late James David and Ella Pearl Coleman Chaney.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan 15, 2011, at Thacker Funeral Home with Bob Norman officiating. Burial will follow at the Reynolds Family Cemetery in Pikeville.

Visitation will be held from 3 until 9 p.m. Friday, Jan 14, at the funeral home chapel.

Arrangements are under the direction of Thacker Funeral Home.

Mary Sanders

Mary Sanders,: 91, of Lexington, Ky., formerly of Majestic, Ky., died Thursday, January, 13, 2011, in Lexington.

She was born in Argo, Ky., December 18, 1919, to the late William Nelson and Elizabeth Harris Blanenship. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Sanders; son James B. Sanders (JB); sisters Agnes Hunt; Dorlis Blankenship; brothers Lloyd Blankenship; Boyd Blankenship; and a brother in law, Warren Hunt.

Mary was retired having worked many years at the Freeburn Elementary School in Freeburn, Ky., and she was a homemaker.

Survivors include sons,: William Corby Sanders of Pataskala, Ohio; Dwight David Sanders of Georgetown, Ky.; sister, Sada Justice; grandchildren, James William Sanders; Christopher Neil Sanders; Chad Eric Sanders; Valarie Sanders Propp; and Eric Thomas Sanders; and four great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, January 16,at the Phelps Funeral Services chapel with Steve Mayhorn officiating. Burial will follow in the Buddy Mounts Cemetery at Majestic with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will begin receiving friends on Saturday, January 15, 2011, at the chapel at 6 p.m.
