Jonah Hinkle

Jonah Mitchell Hinkle, 65, of Delbarton, passed away Jan. 2, 2011, at his home.

He was born May 27, 1945 at Taylorville, the son of the late Jacob and Pearl Justice Hinkle. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Floyd and Jim Hinkle; and sisters, Catherine and Betty Hinkle.

He was a disabled coal miner.

His survivors include his wife, Lilly Aileen Dean Hinkle; sons, Jonah Mitchell Hinkle Jr. of Elk Creek and Willard J. Tilton Hinkle of Delbarton; daughters, Jeannie Wellman of Falls Branch and Joanell Hinkle of Taylorville; brother, Okey Hinkle of Ragland; sister, Bonnie Pearl Jarvis of Naugatuck and eight grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ at Naugatuck Wednesday Jan. 5, 2011 at 1 p.m. with the Revs. Curtis Collins and Ernest Dean Jr. Burial will follow in the Justice-Tiller Cemetery at Taylorville.

Visitation will be at the Church Tuesday evening after 6 p.m. with special services at 7 p.m.

Aiden Vance

Aiden Chase Vance 9-months-old, of Rockview, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, at the Welch Community Hospital.

He was born in Beckley, March 17, 2010, to the late Geneva "Jenny" Vance. He called his grandparents Mary Vance and Kenneth Stewart of Rockview "mommy and daddy.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011 at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Lester Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Mounts Funeral Home of Gilbert.

Ruby Wolford

Ruby Wolford, 47, of Freeburn, Ky., died Monday, Jan. 3, 2011, at the South Williamson, Ky., Appalachian Regional Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, at the Gooslin Bottom Church of God in Freeburn. Burial will follow in the Freeburn Cemetery.

Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the church with special services at 7 p.m. nightly.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Phelps Funeral Services of Phelps, Ky.
