The First Annual Consol Energy All-Star game is loaded with talented basketball players from southern West Virginia and eastern Kentucky.
Two players from the nationally ranked Huntington Prep school are playing for the West Virginia squad. They are Carlos Arroyo, who is from Puerto Rico, and Williams Otor Gabriel, who hails from Nigeria. Both have received several Division One scholarship offers.

NAUGATUCK - Shelby Valley scored five runs in the top of the 3rd inning and went on to beat Tug Valley 13-4 in baseball action Tuesday night at the TVHS field at Naugatuck.
The Wildcats scored three more runs in the 4th inning, one more in the 6th and three insurance runs in the final frame to coast to the win.
