WILLIAMSON - A new ink slinger has opened her shop in downtown Williamson.
Angel’s Tat House is located on Fourth Avenue, across from Sacred Heart Catholic Church, owned and operated by Angel Chapman, an area native.
Angel said she does tattoos in color, but considers herself a “traditional” tattoo artist, meaning tattoos done in black with grey shading.
“I have over 1,000 designs in stock,” Angel said. “But I can also work with a client, for things such as memorial tattoos or custom designs.”
She explained that all her custom stencils are hand-cut and drawn, so that all her tattoos are truly unique and one-of-a-kind.
During an inspection from the Health Department, Angel’s Tat House received a perfect score of 100. All her needles and supplies are completely disposable.
“Everything that touches our clients is thrown away,” she explained.
Angel herself has 25 tattoos. She says each piece of body art tells a story.
“Every one of them is perfect,” she said. “They were exactly what I wanted at the time I got them.”
In addition to tattoos, Angel also offers piercings. Both tattoo and piercing prices vary. Tattoos start at $40 and piercings are $35 and up.
During Memorial Day weekend, all memorial tattoos are 20 percent off.
Angel and shop manager Jason Clark are open Monday through Saturday, 2 p.m. until midnight. Call 606-625-5976.
