WILLIAMSON — After hearing that he had been indicted by the Mingo County Grand Jury, defendant Jason Landon Young drove to the Williamson Police Station and turned himself in to Mingo County Drug Task Force Commander Dave Rockel.
Young had been indicted on 2 counts of delivery of a Schedule I controlled substance (Heroin). He was transported to the Southwestern Regional Jail at Holden and is scheduled to appear for arraignment this week before the Honorable Circuit Judge Michael Thornsbury.
The names of those who have been arraigned over the period of the last three days are listed below, as well as the charges against them.
• Brandi J. Baisden, Indictment A13-F80; 1 count of child neglect resulting in death.
• Scott J. Baisden, Indictment A13-F81; 1 count of child neglect resulting in death.
• Jonathon Berry, Indictment A13-F82; 2 counts of soliciting a minor via the internet.
• John Lowe, Indictment A13-F96; 1 count of grand larceny; 1 count of conspiracy to commit grand larceny and 1 count of destruction of property, greater than $2,500.
• Kim Cantrell, Indictment A13-F107; 1 count of distribution of a Schedule II controlled substance (Oxycodone) within 1,000 feet of a school by a person 18 years of age or older and 1 count each of distribution of a Schedule I controlled substance (Heroin) and a Schedule II controlled substance (Cocaine) within 1,000 feet of a school by a person 18 years of age or older.
• Ronnie Davis, Indictment A13-F120; 1 count of grand larceny.
• David Anthony Hairston, Indictment A13-F113; 1 count each of possession of a Schedule II controlled substance (Cocaine) with intent to deliver and possession of a Schedule III controlled substance (Hydrocodone) with intent to deliver.
James Crabtree was indicted on charges of 2 counts of delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance (Hydrocodone) and was scheduled to be arraigned on Monday but the court was informed that he is currently a patient in the Intensive Care Unit of the Williamson Memorial Hospital. He will be due to appear in court to answer these charges upon his release.
A capias warrant was issued for the arrest of Ronald Paul Linville after he failed to appear in Circuit Court for his arraignment hearing on 1 count of child abuse resulting in bodily injury and 1 count of 1st offense domestic battery.
