WILLIAMSON - State Farm Agent George Swain knew that he always wanted to return to Mingo County. The Delbarton native spent several years employed with his company in the Huntington area following his graduation from Marshall University before offered the opportunity to relocate to Williamson. That move occurred in January of 2011 and since that time, Swain has been at the 2nd Avenue office and is thrilled to see the insurance office grow and prosper.
Swain has recently welcomed the addition of Patricia Skeens and Jamie Justice, both licensed agents, to his team of employees.
Skeens, who hails from Delbarton where she was a Burch High graduate, now resides on Rt. 49 in the Lick Creek community. She is currently a Life and Health Insurance Agent for State Farm following a six years stint with Combined Insurance and Modern Woodman of America. Skeens is the proud mother of sons Gary Jr. and John Ross and has one grandson, Timothy, and has been married for 42 years to her husband Gary.
Justice is a resident of Forest Hills, Ky., and is a graduate of Belfry High School. She is the daughter of James and Rosemary Justice and has one daughter, Lillee. She is a licensed agent in the fields of Life, Health, Property and Casualty.
Other licensed agents in the Swain State Farm Office are Evone Collins and Ruth Ann Hackney.
State Farm offers a multitude of insurances to suit your needs such as Home, Auto, Health, Life and other financial services including retirement and investment funds and Medicare Supplements.
Swain’s predecessor at the 2nd Avenue location next to the Williamson Post Office was Greg Slater, who retired from the business at the end of 2010.
Swain welcomes everyone to stop by their office to speak with them about your insurance needs and stated that he personally guarantees efficient, component and thorough service will be provided to you.
Office hours are 9-5, Monday through Friday, and weekend and evening appointments are available if requested.
