Mingo grand jury indicts 39

Two defendants and jail inmates Gary Vance and Trista Estep, who were indicted by the grand jury and appeared in Mingo County Circuit Court on Thursday for their arraignment hearings on charges of multiple drug offenses and first-degree robbery were apparently quite proud of the tattoo Vance had added to his collection following an article that appeared in the Williamson Daily News that profiled them in the “Mingo’s Most Wanted” edition. Vance and Estep seemed to enjoy the publicity, and said that Vance wanted the tattoos on his arms in recognition of the article prior to them turning themselves in to law enforcement. Estep said she wanted herself and Vance described as a “modern-day Bonnie and Clyde.”
