PIKEVILLE, Ky. - The Pike County Grand Jury indicted 15 people, including a woman charged with the assault of three law enforcement officers.
Veronica Caines, 29, of Pikeville, was charged with assaulting officers David Adkins and John Reynolds, and detention facility employee Chris Meachum. Caines is charged with three counts of third degree assault, identity theft, resisting arrest and third degree terroristic threatening.
Brittany Hendricks, 27, of Narrows Branch, Gary Sincell, 30, of Edgarton, Crystal Cassell, 29, of Belfry, Shawn Francis, 36, of Forest Hills, Joshua Marian, 25 of Aflex and Billy Ray, 31, of Narrows Branch are all charged with second degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, checks in various amounts to which the name Allen Maynard had been forged.
Robert Charles, 52, of Phelps, was indicted for first degree burglary, fourth degree assault, thrid degree criminal mischief and third degree terroristic threatening. Charles allegedly broke into the dwelling of Larry Lockhard and Audra Rowe armed with a deadly weapon.
Robert Rowe, 24, of Virgie, was indicted for third degree burglary, two counts of theft by unlawful taking and persistent felony offender in connection with a break-in of a vehicle that belonged to American Heating and Cooling and the theft of a firearm from Kyle Wallace.
Jimmy D. Rushing, 50, of Williamson, was indicted for first degree trafficking in a controlled substance, oxycodone, and prescription not in a proper container.
Melissa Rowe, 32, and Anthony Stevens, 27, both of Elizabethon, Tenn., were indicted for the fraudulent use of a credit card for more than $500.
Julius Tackett, 43, of Clay City, was indicted for second degree escape and persistent felony offender.
Joshua Habern, 29, of Pikeville, was indicted for the second assault of Whitney Lowe and persistent felony offender.
Haven Eldridge, 37, of Dandridge, Tenn., was indicted for flagrant non-support of his minor child.
