PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A woman was charged for striking a Pike County Subway restaurant with her vehicle, which left one injured
Toma Williamson, 55, of Belfry, was charged with DUI, no operators license, failure to wear seatbelt and no insurance after she lost control of her vehicle on U.S. 23 and left the southbound travel lane.
She first struck her vehicle a parked one before crashing into the Subway restaurant in Caney. The collision then further damaged two other parked vehicles.
Dakota Belcher, a Subway employee who was working inside the store, was treated at Pikeville Medical Center for injuries sustained in the collision.
Williamson admitted to officers that she had been inhaling a product used for keyboard cleaning while traveling on U.S. 23.
A court appearance for Williamson is pending. The incident is under investigation by KSP Sergeant Keith Justice of the Pikeville CVE Region.
