WILLIAMSON - Criminal complaints filed with the Mingo County Magistrate Court Clerk shows that the

following arrests were conducted that involved officers with the Mingo County Sheriff’s Department

(MCSD), the West Virginia State Police (WVSP) and the Williamson City Police (WPD).

Donel Hannah, 24, of Webb Road in Wayne County, was taken into custody by MCSD Deputy E. Williams

on felony charges of conspiracy, grand larceny and destruction of property, which stemmed from an

alleged theft at Consol Energy’s Neely Branch Mines on Marrowbone Creek.

According to the deputy, the defendant reportedly conspired with Terry Chafin to steal belt rollers and

additional structure from the mine site that were valued at approximately $2,000. In addition to the

theft, the duo are said to have done more than $10,000 worth of damage to mining property during the

process of removing the stolen items.

Hannah was arraigned before Magistrate Pam Newsome, who set bond at $15,000.

Tina L. Brown, 34, of Williamson, was arrested by WPD Patrolman J.F. Taylor III and Sgt. J.E. Spence

on a single misdemeanor domestic battery charge. The complaint states that on Dec. 18, the officers

were dispatched to a residence on East 4th Avenue in regards to an altercation in process. Upon arrival,

the defendant was observed to be sitting on top of a male victim, “yanking his hair out”. When Brown

realized that law enforcement was on scene, she ran into the residence in an attempt to evade arrest.

Brown appeared in front of Chief Magistrate Dallas Toler for her arraignment and was released from

custody after posting a $500 personal recognizance bond.

LaQuita A. Sallee, 34, of Williamson, was arrested by WPD Sgt. John Hall, Jr. and Lt. Grady P. Dotson on

charges of disorderly conduct and obstruction of an officer. Hall and Dotson responded to a disturbance

call at an Alderson Street residence where they encountered Sallee, who is thought to have been

intoxicated. The female is accused of yelling and repeatedly cursing the officers and refused to obey any

orders to cease her bad behavior.

The defendant was arraigned by Magistrate Dee Sidebottom and was released from custody after

meeting her $400 bond requirements and conditions.

Charles Logan Workman, 24, of Williamson, turned himself in to WVSP Trooper T.G. Kania III on an

outstanding felony grand larceny warrant that was issued on Oct 24th by Magistrate Sidebottom.

On the above listed date, the defendant is alleged to have stolen a 1999 Ford F-350 from his father,

Frelin Workman, and is said to have sold the vehicle to KNW Metals in Belfry, Ky. for scrap metal.

Workman was arraigned before Sidebottom and was issued a bond of $10,000.
