Here at the Williamson Daily News, we strive to bring our customers and subscribers the highest quality of content possible. Starting in the Aug. 2 edition, our Comics and Entertainment pages will be changing.

Comics will be featuring the popular comics of Beetle Bailey, Blondie, Dennis the Menace, Family Circus, Funky Winkerbean, Hagar the Horrible, Hi & Lois, Mutts, The Lockhorn’s, and Zits. Features will include Jacqueline Bigar’s Horoscope, a crossword puzzle, and the popular number game Conceptis Sudoku. Other additions will be a daily column by famous psychologist Dr. Joyce Brothers.

“We are very excited about the new features we will be starting. Dr. Joyce Brothers will bring fresh content to our pages, and the comics are the old reliables,” Publisher Gaither Perry stated. “Hagar has always been one of my favorites, and we have had a lot of requests for Sudoku, which we have already begun. The new NASCAR page is an exciting addition as well.”
