Laura Alice Hager, 69, of Ransom, Ky., passed away Monday, September 24, 2012, at the Appalachian Regional Hospital, South Williamson, Ky.

Born March 6, 1943, in Pike County, Ky., a daughter of the late John Henry and Mazie Akers Coleman.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul David Hager; and she was the last and youngest of 14 brothers and sisters all whom preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Tammy (Guy) Rudisill of Ransom; one son Greg (Barbara) Estep of Baltimore, Md.; two grandchildren, Olivia Bowman, Baltimore, Md., Stephanie Rudisill (Timothy Yates) of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and a host of friends.

Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, September 28, at the R.E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Smith Officiating. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery, Ransom, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held after 6 p.m. Thursday, September 27, at the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with special services at 7 p.m.
