MATEWAN - The Williamson Mobile Farmers Market will be at the old Matewan High School building Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Vouchers for fruits and vegetables will be handed out to low-income families with children. Parents can stop by the Mingo County Diabetes Coalition to get the consent form for the vouchers or show up at the event to sign up. Those with SNAP benefits may use their cards for fresh produce as well.

The vouchers do not have to be spent all at once, but can be used for later mobile farmers events or at the Williamson Farmers Market every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, contact Kelly Webb or Eva Musick at (304) 235-3400.
