The WVU Extension Service of Mingo County would like to invite all Mingo County 4-H members, campers and the public to join our 4-H Camping Kick Off on June 24, 2014 at the Williamson Swimming Pool at 6:00 p.m.
They will be having free music, games, swimming and food at the event.
At 8:30 p.m. the Mingo County 4-H adult and teen leaders will lead the group in 4-H traditional songs and council circle activities. Those who attend are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for some campfire fun and songs.
“Please don’t forgot to get your camp applications in ASAP because the slots are limited,” a 4-H spokesman said.
The Mingo County 4-H is now accepting applications for their summer camp, which will be July 14 - 18, 2014 and is for students ages 8-13.
The camp is held at the Cabell County 4-H Camp in Barboursville, WV. Transportation will be provided but space is limited. For more information call Mark Whitt / Alice Ritz @ 235-2692 ext. 2.
Programs and activities are offered by the WVU Extension Service and are available to all persons without regard to race, color, sex, disability, religion, age, veteran status, political beliefs, sexual orientation, national origin, and marital or family status.
