GOODY, Ky. – The Lady Pirates of Belfry sank the Lady Blackcats of Prestonsburg 66-51 behind a career high 30 points for junior Emily Baker.


Baker also had a career high in rebounds with 18. The junior guard also had 8 steals and 6 assists in one of her best games of the season. Baker was 12-14 from the floor, including 1-1 from behind the arc.


Belfry fell behind early at 19-13, but battled back to outscore P’burg 21-13 in the second quarter.


They outscored the visitors 33 to 19 in the second half to pull away with the win.


Candace Gilman added 11 points for coach Kevin Deskins and his squad. Paige Goff added 8 points and 8 rebounds, while Robbie Brewer chipped in 11.


Tiffany Meadows led the Lady Blackcats with 17 points.
