Several people arrested on a variety of charges

WILLIAMSON - Mingo County magistrates were busy conducting arraignments for several defendants who were arrested in the last week. Listed below are the names and a list of their alleged charges.
Estel Lee Lester, 26, of Welch, was arrested by Kermit Police Chief C.E. Chambers on charges of DUI first-offense, speeding, fleeing while DUI and left of center.
Curly Lee Lester, 34, of Prichard, was taken into custody by Chambers after being charged with DUI and obstructing an officer.
Ronnie Lee Campbell, 38, of Taylorville, was charged with petit larceny and placed under arrest by Mingo County sheriff’s Department Cpl. J. Endicott.
Elijah Lewis Hall, 41, of Naugatuck, was arrested by Mingo sheriff’s Deputy M. Mounts and Sgt, G. Messer on charges of fleeing, no vehicle, conspiracy, grand larceny and obstructing.
Roy Lee Morris, 33, of Williamson, was charged with receiving and transferring stolen property after being arrested by Hatfield and McCoy Trails Enforcement Division Ranger John Hall Jr.
Scott Helmick, 36, of Hatfield, Ky., was arrested by Williamson Patrolman B. Gibson and charged with burglary, grand larceny, transferring stolen property and conspiracy.
Justin Baisden, 24, of Delbarton, was taken into custody by sheriff’s Lt. J.D. Ferris, Cpl. P. Muncy, Cpl. C. Endicott and Sgt. A. Farra on charges of domestic battery.
Justin Bailey, 28, of Lovely, Ky., was arrested by West Virginia State Police Trooper J.R. Tupper on two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
All defendants were arraigned in magistrate court and released after posting bond.
