WILLIAMSON - Several defendants have been placed under arrest and arraigned in Mingo County Magistrate Court during the last week on a variety of charges. Their names and a brief description of the crimes they allegedly committed are as follows:
Darrell K. Adkins, 35, of McCarr, Ky., was arrested by Mingo County Sheriff’s Department Cpl. P. Muncy and Sgt. A. Farra on charges of third-offense DUI, second-offense DUS for reasons of DUI, driving left of center, fleeing from an officer and reckless driving.
Stephen K. Davis, 22, of Delbarton, was taken into custody by West Virginia State Police Trooper D.L. Contos after being charged with child neglect resulting in risk of injury, domestic assault and possession of a controlled substance.
Mark Lloyd, 41, of Matewan, was placed under arrest by Matewan Police Chief Allen Mounts and faces charges of petit larceny, breaking and entering and fleeing from an officer after he allegedly stole three bags of frozen Kentucky Fried Chicken from an outside freezer at the South Williamson, Ky., location.
Ricky Nelson Queen, 56, of Delbarton, was charged with DUI and driving on an expired driver’s license by Troopers Contos and D.M. Williamson.
Perry Lynn Jones Jr., 31, of Peck’s Mill in Logan, was arrested by sheriff’s Deputy R. Fitch on charges of domestic battery after striking his wife in the mouth with a telephone.
Cynthia Georgia Johnson, 40, of Gilbert, was taken into custody by Gilbert Police Chief M. Rasmussen and Patrolman J. Endicott after being charged with driving on a suspended license for reasons of DUI.
Mark Berry, 47, of Chattaroy, was charged with one count each of public intoxication, obstruction, disorderly conduct, trespassing and simple possession following his arrest by Williamson Patrolmen J. Tincher and B. Gibson.
Tony Spaulding, 64, of Kermit, was arrested by Senior Trooper C.A. Douglas on charges of domestic assault, two counts of brandishing and assault.
