Kayla Blackburn, of Miller's Creek, lost control of her Dodge Neon Wednesday afternoon while traveling in the community of Chattaroy. She told members of the Chattaroy Volunteer Fire Department, who were first on scene, that she started sliding and then proceeded to flip her car, landing on its top in the creek. Luckily, it appeared that the Blackburn was not seriously injured and was able to crawl out of the wreckage on her own accord. Blackburn was transported by STAT Ambulance to a local hospital for examination. Also responding to the scene was MCSD Deputy E. Sherrill, Chief Deputy D. Rockel and D. Stratton, as well as members of the Williamson Fire Department.
