Pike County Grand Jury returns indictments

PIKEVILLE, Ky. - A list of those who were indicted during a recent session of the Pike County, Ky., Grand Jury has been released. It reads as follows:


George T. May, 26, of Sidney, Ky., was indicted on a Class D felony charge of theft by unlawful taking.


Wanda M. Fields, 37, of Lenore, has been indicted on a Class A misdemeanor charge of theft by unlawful taking.


Billy Wallace III, 31, of Goody, Ky., stands indicted on four charges; second-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking, violation of a protective order and two counts of fourth-degree assault.


Sarah L. Leedy, “aka” Sarah Williams, 38, of Pikeville, Ky., was indicted for first-degree mischief, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants and operating a motor vehicle without a license.


Ricky Case, 55; Larry Case, 50; and Michael Case, 53, all of Harold, Ky., were indicted on a Class D felony charge of third-degree burglary and first-degree criminal mischief.


Joshua McCoy, 22, of Pikeville, Ky., was indicted on second-degree burglary charges, theft by unlawful taking and being a persistent felony offender, second-degree (Class B felony).


Truby Garrett, 43, of Beckley, W.Va., was indicted by the grand jury on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants, trafficking in a controlled substance first-degree, trafficking in a controlled substance third-degree and possession of drug paraphernalia.


Rhonda Gail Coleman, 44, of Pikeville, Ky., stands indicted on one count of theft by unlawful taking.


Lesia Hall, 42, of Pikeville, Ky., was indicted on a single count of possession of a controlled substance, first-degree.


Michael B. Little, 25, of Virgie, Ky., was indicted on a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana.


Carl Scott Tackett, 36, of Pikeville, Ky., faces charges of receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance, first-degree.


David Huffman, 56, of Pikeville, Ky., was indicted on one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.


Hope Murphy Rose, 29, of Elkhorn City, Ky., faces charges of promoting contraband, first-degree and prescription drugs not in proper container.


Michael Pollatta, 43, of Pikeville, Ky, was indicted on a single count of fraudulent use of a credit card.


Tiffany Compton, 30, of Jonancy, Ky., and Ronetta Holbrooks, 30, of Elkhorn City, Ky., were each indicted on one count of attempting to obtain a controlled substance by fraudulent means.


Gatlin Clark, 22, of Pikeville, Ky., was indicted for fraudulent use of a credit card.


Kermit R. Williams, 50, of Elkhorn City, Ky., faces one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.


Aaron Mullins, 40, of Pikeville, Ky., was indicted on one charge each of failure to properly register as a sexual offender and being a persistent felony offender, first-degree.


Christopher McPeek, 26, of Virgie, Ky., was indicted for bail jumping, first-degree and persistent felony offender, secon-degree.


Clarence P. Newsome, 42, of Raccoon, Ky., was indicted on one count of first-degree assault.


Robert Derek Sykes, 44; Joesph Dean Cole, 32; Sheena Lynn Saunders, 32; Glenda Lavonne Woods, 27; Shanna Michelle Reed, 34; and Devonna M. Thacker, 30, all of the Pikeville, Ky. area, were each indicted on one Class C felony charge of engaging in organized crime/criminal syndicate.


Jeremy Young, 26, and Justin Justice, 34, both of Phelps, and Lyle Campanella, 19, of McCarr, Ky., stand indicted on charges of third-degree burlary, theft by unlawful taking and criminal mischief, first-degree.


Aaron Mullins, 40, of Pikeville, Ky., was indicted for first-degree robbery and persistent felony offender, first-degree.


Karen L. Hurley, 41, of Lexington, Ky., stands indicted on one count each of third-degree burglary and theft by unlawful taking.


Ashley D. Garrett, 26, of Raccoon, Ky., was indicted for one count each of theft by unlawful taking, promoting contraband, second-degree, and assault, third-degree.


Joshua S. Harris, 23, of Pikeville, Ky., was indicted by the grand jury on charges of third-degree burglary and theft by unlawful taking.


John Adkins III, 31, of Elkhorn City, Ky., was indicted on one count of second-degree assault.


James Bunch, 37, and Melody Bunch, 35, both of Pikeville, Ky., were indicted on a single count of theft by unlawful taking.


Walker Maynard, 25, of Oil Springs, Ky., was indicted on a Class D felony charge of theft by unlawful taking.


James Damron, 33, of Pikeville, Ky., was indicted on one count each of first-degree robbery and first-degree criminal mischief.
