Pineville earned a Greatest Volunteer Participation Award as one of two cities that recruited the most volunteers during PRIDE Spring Cleanup Month in April, when 99 volunteers picked up litter in the city.

Ina Robbins, the city’s PRIDE Coordinator, accepted a trophy from PRIDE’s Mark Davis. Volunteers are encouraged to pick up litter in October to make sure roads look their best for scenic drives.
