WILLIAMSON - According to Mingo County Deputy Clerk Marlena Cisco, two voting precincts will be in a different location than in years past, as the need to make changes has become known.

Voters registered in Precinct 56, which in the past was located at the local community center, will be casting their votes inside the cafeteria of Matewan Middle School. Those who exercise their right to vote in Precinct 7, formerly located inside Goodman Manor on Fourth Avenue in Williamson will now be voting a short distance away inside the former Williamson High School cafeteria that is now operated by the Mingo County Commission.

If you would like further information on these changes, please contact Mingo County Clerk “Big Jim” Hatfield or a member of his staff by calling 304-235-0330 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
