WILLIAMSON - Law enforcement officers across Mingo County took 18 people into custody on a variety of charges.


Tracy Pete Frye, 28, of Delbarton, was arrested by Delbarton Patrolmen J.T. McCown and C.S. Carter on charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer.


Stephanie Mounts, 28, of Williamson, was arrested by Williamson Patrolman J.D. Tincher after being charged with petit larceny, public intoxication, disorderly conduct and obstruction.


William Randolph Hendricks, 28, of Gilbert, was taken into custody by West Virginia State Police Senior Trooper J.D. Matheny on charges of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana).


Andrew David Harmon, 50, of Matewan, was arrested on charges of defective equipment, possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and DUI. The arresting officers were Delbarton Police Chief D. Nunley and Patrolmen D.Davis and C.S. Carter.


Brandie Leann Walls, 32, of Delbarton, was charged with first-offense DUI when placed under arrest by Delbarton Patrolmen J.T. McCown and C.S. Carter.


John Glen Belcher, 55, 0f Delbarton, was arrested by Mingo County Sheriff’s Department Deputy M.J. Mounts on charges of first-offense DUI and operating an ATV across the centerline of the highway.


Jennifer Pilkins, 33, of Delbarton, was arrested by Sgt. James Muncy and Deputy Steve Smith of the Mingo County Sheriff’s Department on a single count of theft of services that stemmed from illegally obtaining water for her residence.


Bobbie Jo Crum, 23, of Delbarton, was placed under arrest by Delbarton Patrolmen C.S. Carter and J.T. McCown on a charge of petit larceny.


James Gregory Bailey, 31, of Delbarton, was arrested by Williamson Patrolmen J.D. Tincher and J.L. Marcum after being charged with having an expired registration as well as DUI, first offense.


Rebecca Amburn, 43, of Stone, Ky., was taken into custody by Williamson Patrolman J.D. Tincher on charges of permitting DUI.


Jerry D. Salyers, 36, of Hanover, was charged with driving on a suspended license for reasons of DUI. He was arrested by Gilbert Police Chief M. Rasmussem and Cpl. C.G. Endicott of the Mingo County Sheriff’s Department.


Charles Chafin, 33, of Ragland, was taken into custody by Deputies M.J. Mounts, L.J. Thomas, E. Williams and S. Messer and was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.


Linwood Starling, 78, of Williamson, was arrested on charges of DUI, disorderly conduct, two counts of obstruction and defective equipment by Williamson Patrolmen J.D. Tincher and J.L. Marcum.


Christopher Lee Wheeler, 28, of Delbarton, was placed under arrest by Delbarton Patrolman D.R. Davis after being charged with DUI, fleeing DUI, reckless driving, left of center, no operator’s license and public intoxication.


Robert Wilson, 31, of Williamson, was arrested by Williamson Police Sgt. J. Spence on charges of destruction of property and battery.


Glen Smith, 56, of Williamson, was taken into custody and was charged with obstruction by Williamson Patrolman J.D. Tincher.


Amanda Gartin Workman, 30, of Williamson, was arrested by Tincher on a single charge of DUI.


All defendants were arraigned by Mingo County magistrates and will be returning to court for their preliminary hearings.
