Multiple arrests are reported in Mingo

WILLIAMSON - According to criminal complaints obtained from Mingo County Magistrate Court, 13 defendants recently were arraigned after being arrested on a variety of criminal charges.

Billie Jo Milum, 39, of Chattaroy, was placed under arrest by Williamson Patrolman J.D. Tincher on an extensive list of charges that includes disorderly conduct, public intoxication, obstruction, destruction of property, domestic battery, child abuse and battery on an officer.

Dustin Wilkerson, 22, of Williamson, was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, conspiracy, obstructing an officer and fleeing from an officer following his arrest by Williamson Police Department Sgt. J. Spence and patrolmen Tincher, Marcum and Gibson.

Clinton W. McCoy, 41, of Sprigg, was arrested by Mingo County Sheriff’s Department Deputy P.A. Mounts and Williamson Police Officer Tincher and was charged with operating an ATV on the roadway, fleeing from an officer while DUI, battery on a police officer and driving while license is revoked for DUI.

Amanda Nicole Workman, 31, of Williamson, was taken into custody by Deputy Roger Fitch and was charged with DUI, driving on a revoked license for reasons of DUI and no proof of insurance.

Eric Jay Marcum, 38, of Williamson, faces charges of obstruction and disorderly conduct stemming from an arrest conducted by Williamson Patrolman J.D. Tincher.

Alicia Holcomb, 45, of Hanover, was taken into custody by West Virginia State Police Trooper D.M. Williamson and was charged with DUI and driving on a revoked license for reasons of unpaid citations.

Dallas Joe Chafins, 25, of Dingess, was placed under arrest by Trooper First Class J.K. Harris after being charged with second-offense DUI, driving on a revoked license for reasons of DUI, improper registration, no insurance, no motor vehicle registration and leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in property damage.

Paul Douglas Hunt, 40, of Delbarton, was arrested by Delbarton Police Department Patrolmen J. McCown and C. Carter after being charged with trespassing/beint asked to leave property, public intoxication, disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer.

Kurastin Brown, 20, of Williamson, was charged with one count of battery after being placed under arrest by Senior Trooper J.J. Dean III.

Melissa Bentley, 38, of Williamson, was also taken into custody by Dean on one count of battery.

Sandra Kay Mullins, 50, of Williamson, was placed under arrest in Mingo County Magistrate Court on charges of public intoxication while appearing in court for a previous charge of DUI and driving left of center.

Helen Justice, of Edgarton, faces one misdemeanor count of extortion and providing a false statement to a police officer. Delbarton Patrolman J. McCown made the arrest.

Michael Salyers, 45, of Delbarton, was taken into custody by Senior Trooper J.J. Dean III and Trooper D.M. Williamson for reasons of DUI.
