WILLIAMSON - Numerous individuals have found themselves arrested on a variety of charges within the last week in Mingo County.
Lori Vagott, 49, of Williamson, was placed under arrest by West Virginia State Police Senior Trooper J.R. Tupper on charges of third-offense DUI, driving revoked for reasons of DUI, left of center, no proof of registration, failure to produce operators and two counts of possession of a controlled substance (both Schedule III, Hydrocodone and Suboxone).
Brian Lee Farley, 18, of Chattaroy, was arrested by Delbarton Police Chief David Nunley and was charged with domestic assault and destruction of property.
Samantha Nicole Triplett, 22, of Williamson, was taken into custody by Mingo County Sheriff’s Department Cpl. N. Mines and Deputy R. Fitch on domestic assault charges.
Bradley Ira Lawson, 20, of Delbarton, was charged with second-offense DUI, simple possession (marijuana), two counts of failure to wear a seat belt and no valid driver’s license. The arrest was conducted by Senior Trooper T.G. Kania III and Trooper D.L. Contos.
Edwin McCoy Jr., 49, of Goody, Ky., was arrested by Williamson Police Chief Barry Blair and Patrolman Jerrod Marcum after being charged with domestic battery.
Sharon Kay Curry, 39, of Williamson, was taken into custody by Kania and Contos, and was charged with DUI, left of center, reckless driving, no proof of insurance and unsigned registration.
Bobby Amburn, 46, of Stone, Ky., was arrested by Williamson Police Department Patrolmen J. Tincher and J. Marcum on a charge of DUI.
Elizabeth G. Collins, 29, of Williamson, faces charges of DUI, reckless driving, speeding and failure to obey a traffic control device. She was arrested by Tincher and Marcum.
All defendants were arraigned in Mingo County Magistrate Court and are scheduled for probable cause hearings.
