The Phelps Middle School 8th Grade students participated in the second Morehead State University Entrepreneurial Competition/Fair Wednesday, November 6, 2013.

The participating students prepared for the fair by studying economics, identifying a business opportunity, completing a basic business plan, estimating production costs, developing a marketing and advertising plan, displaying their product or service and presenting their business idea to the judges. These activities and lessons provided the students with a valuable learning experience in economics and business.
