LENORE - It’s that time a year again to be show off your new Halloween costume.
The Laurel Lake Wildlife Management Area Foundation has just the event for you this Friday, October 25th , starting at 6 p.m.
The Laurel Lake Foundation will host it’s 2nd Annual “Laurel Lake Spooktacular”. The event will start out with trick-or-treating and a few games.
Some people in the local community have even committed to coming to the park to give out their Halloween candy as well as what the Foundation has planned. After, a haunted trail will be offered then storytelling around a campfire by the Lenore and Dingess Girl Scout and Cub Scout troops. For the Haunted Trail, the Foundation plans to have two different groups, smaller children which will be less scary, and older children.
Foundation Treasurer, Lola Lackey is excited to be hosting this event for the second year, “We love being able to host events at Laurel Lake Park that are free and welcome to everyone.”
During the event, the Foundation asks parents to please accompany their children for added safety. For more information on the Laurel Lake Spooktacular, please check out their website at www.laurellakewmafoundation.com. You may contact Lola Lackey at (304) 518-0123.
