Mums signal arrival of fall season

Friendly Village greenhouse worker Ruby Clem, of Bobs Creek, is seen pruning mums currently available at the Cumberland River Comprehensive Care Center, located in Harlan. Hundreds of mums are grown by residents at the facility and sold to raise money for field trips. They have a wide array of colors available. Open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. you may also visit Friendly Village Greenhouse on Saturdays from noon to 2 p.m. For more information, you may call 574-0096.
