PIKEVILLE, Ky. - The football alumni from Belfry High School will travel to Hambley Athletic Complex in Pikeville to take on the alumni from Pikeville High School.

The game is being put on by Gridiron Alumni, a company that has raised over $200,000 for schools and charities by putting on alumni football games.

Several former Belfry Pirates are scheduled to play in the game against their old cross-county rival. Many former PHS Panthers will also be participating.

The game will be Saturday, September 21st at 7 p.m. The gates will open at 6 p.m.. Gridiron Alumni has chosen to donate the concession stands to Pikeville High School Athletics Boosters.
In June, over 1300 people jammed the stands at Sheldon Clark in Inez, Ky. to watch Belfy’s alumni beat the Sheldon Clark Cardinals alumni 32-12.
Pikeville immediately started working on putting together their own team. They have been practicing for months and expect to put on a good show against the Belfry team. If you go, tickets are $10 for Adults, $5 for Children 5-17, and Military in Uniform and Children 5 and under are always free. Gridiron Alumni is also currently working on a game between Williamson Wolfpack alumni and former Burch players. Former players have been registering to play in that game. No date has been scheduled at this time.
