Debra Beavers Blankenship, 53, of Edgarton, entered into the peaceful rest of her Lord and Savior on Friday November 30, 2012, at the University of Pittsburg Medical Center of Pittsburg, Pa.
Born August 26, 1959, in Williamson, Debra was the daughter of the late Johnnie Beavers and Georgia Hyatt Bailey.
In addition to her parents, Debra is preceded in death by grandson Ethan Ryan Sincell.
In addition to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and neighbor, Debra was a homemaker and a 1977 graduate of Matewan High School and was also a member of The Stopover, Ky., Church of God and a member of the Rotary Club of Matewan.
She leaves to honor her loving memory and mourn her passing her loving husband, Anthony C. Blankenship Jr. of Edgarton; stepson, Keith (Paula) Blankenship of Matewan; Amanda (Ronny Jr.) Gillman; brother, Johnnie Beavers Jr. of Edgarton; sister Karen Browning of Edgarton; and grandchildren Devin and Kayelea. She is also survived by stepfather Ballard Bailey; nieces and nephews Cassidy (Willis) Adkins, Zachary and Seth Browning; and great-nephew Keegan Adkins. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Honoring services will be conducted Wednesday, December 5, at noon at the Chambers Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Harold Layne and Hiram Justice officiating. Entombment will follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens at Huddy, Ky. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will begin receiving friends on Monday, December 3, at Stopover Church of God of Stopover, at 6 p.m. and then on Tuesday, December 4, at the Chambers Funeral Services’ chapel from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
