Sherman Coleman, 63, of Williamson, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at the Appalachian Regional Hospital in South Williamson, Ky.
Born December 30, 1948, at Majestic, Ky., he was the son of the late Amos and Carrie Belle Cline Coleman.
He was a former coal miner and a veteran having served his country as a member of the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era.
Survivors include his companion Lullie Coleman of Williamson; three sons Seth Coleman of Rockhouse, Ky., Derrick Coleman of Pikeville, Ky., and T.W. Coleman of Williamson; four brothers Larry Coleman of Ohio, Emzie Coleman of Phelps, Ky., J.Cecil Coleman of Charleston, and Roy Coleman of Ohio; six sisters Jerri Blackburn of Freeburn, Ky., Patricia Stanley of Ohio, Mabel Hatton, address unknown, Anita Hall of Johns Creek, Ky., Judy Ferrell of Freeburn, and Marie Wolford, address unknown. Also surviving are four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 17, at 1 p.m. from the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, Ky. with Bro. Charles Ray Justice officiating. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
