Carol Sue Hunt, 68, of Elk Creek, went home to be with the Lord Jesus on September 25, 2012, at her home.
She was born November 1, 1943, at Elk Creek, the daughter of the late John and Vicie Curry Hunt.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, John Hunt Jr.
Carol was a member of the Elk Creek Freewill Baptist Church. She was also a retired school teacher of Delbarton Grade School.
She is survived by four brothers, Bill (Jan) Hunt of Orient, Ohio, Roger Hunt of Delbarton, Gary (Brenda) Hunt of Delbarton and Joseph (Melissa) Hunt of Delbarton. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews who she cherished dearly. She will be missed by her special friend, Conley Walters.
Funeral services will be held at the Chafin Funeral Home Chapel Saturday September 29, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Lonnie Gore and Ricky Booth officiating. Burial will follow in the Hunt Cemetery at Pearl Hill. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday evening from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Pallbearers will be friends and family.
