The Tug Valley Recover Shelter (TVRS) is holding a big fundraiser by raffling their annual King Coal Basket for 2012.


There are several great prizes including in the basket giveaway.


They include: Gateway Netbook; two tickets to WVU vs. Maryland (Sept.22); Family “Fall Mini” photo session (includes prints) with Christina Etters Photography; Four pack of Sesame Street Live Tickets at the East Kentucky Expo Center; Three Cut & Styles (one from each stylist)at Just Teasin’, with one pedicure/polish; two spatulas, ice cream scoop and oven mitt from Pampered Chef ; A $25 gift card from Red Lobster; a free oil change from Muncy’s Automotive; a free front end alignment from City Tire; a Marshall backpack and WVU cooler from Family Pharmacy and much, much more, according to Michelle Ball, of the TVRS.


This basket is valued at over $1,700, according to Ball.


New items are still being added daily. Tickets are just $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. All proceeds go directly to help victims of Domestic Violence in Mingo and Logan Counties of southern West Virginia and Pike County, Ky.


The drawing will be held after the King Coal parade on Saturday, September 15. You do not need to be present to win.
