Paul Adkins is the award-winning Sports Editor of the Logan Banner. Adkins, a veteran of 20 years in the newspaper business, has won numerous awards in sports writing and photography at newspapers in West Virginia, Kentucky and Michigan and has been the Logan Banner Sports Editor since 1999. Adkins has covered sporting events over the years in seven different states and Canada. Adkins was born in Pontiac, Mich., and is a 1994 graduate of Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Mich., where he earned a degree in journalism. Adkins loves sports with his favorites being high school and college football, the National Football League, the Canadian Football League and also Major League Baseball and the Olympics. Adkins also enjoys studying American military history. Adkins resides in Delbarton with his wife Jessica, daughter Emily and son Ethan.
